Boston Foundation for Sight
..............Get this! I am at the Boston Foundation for Sight right now and they have my lenses (oops - prosthestic devices, I mean!) in the lab. I can't see all that well and it hurts like the dickens but get this! They are going to change the molecular structure (if I understand it) of the lens surface so that I might be able to get away with putting saline in less frequently. They have to make the silicone more porous yet be able to maintain it's permeability so that oxygen can get through. AMAZING!!
I gave them the "Eye Can See" quilt. They loved it and I got to formally say thank you (not that that really covers it!) Hooray!
More later...
